Is anyone other than me wondering just how waterproof our letterboxes
are right now?

I'm afraid to find out. I'm sure I'll go look for the box and it full of
water and twigs; destroyed before anyone ever found it.

I actually was in Sacramento yesterday during the storm and was lucky
to get a couple boxes in. (I had 19 clues with me but settled for 2).
Both were dry as a bone. Both were in lnls and baggied.
My only plant, a mystery titled Invisible Crop is also in a lnl but I
elected to go commando. Last time I checked on it, before the big
storm, the contents were safe and sound, no sign of moisture whatsoever.

Wendy and I are exclusively utilizing Loc-N'Locs so we are pretty well
assured that they are watertight (he said with crossed fingers).

Help the novice out here, where do you find your loc n' locs? I don't see
them in the stores around here.

Hi there,

In general Asian markets seem to carry these. You can find them along Clement st. in San Francisco, or at the Kukje market in Daly City. I only found one market in your area that may carry something similar:
3056 Del Monte Blvd

Marina, CA, 93933

(831) 384-3000

If you're around Sacramento, there's a Korean grocery store in Rancho
Cordova on Olsen near Zinfandel & Hwy 50.

Wow, thanks. You rock!

I go to Asian markets and never ever even think about looking at the
tupperware/storage stuff. That'll teach me.

Hope that helped, you can give them a call to see if they might have something like lock n lock.
Also, Costco carries a food storage line called fresher longer (I think that is what it is called). I haven't used these, but I noticed that they are on sale online at sharper image for about what a lock n lock costs.
